Coxa and Knee
Coxa and Knee joint symptoms
If you know you have acetabular dysplasia, you have had pain in your hip joint and have had an x-ray. If you have discomfort or pain in your hip joint, you should have maintenance done every time you experience symptoms.
Acupuncture is indicated for the early to advanced stages of osteoarthritis of the hip joint. We help patients regain hip function while controlling hip pain. The degree of improvement depends on the difference in leg length and how far the muscle atrophy has progressed. Some patients have been able to get their leg lengths back in line and no longer need insoles.
A deformed hip joint cannot be reversed, but acupuncture and moxibustion can help restore hip function and keep it that way. Some patients maintain their current condition while being checked by an orthopedic surgeon, and they are still in good health.
We are here to help you improve your hip function so that you can live with your hip for the rest of your life.
If you cannot stay calm due to hip pain, you cannot calmly think about how you should proceed with your treatment.
I feel that acupuncture’s role is to help you face your hip joint and body while controlling your hip pain with acupuncture.
The early to advanced stages of osteoarthritis of the knee are indications for acupuncture. Knee pain subsides, knee movement improves, and the patient is able to walk. Some patients are even able to sit upright. Those in the early to mid-stage of the disease have regained knee function and are still walking well into old age.
I also took charge of a patient in the end stage of osteoarthritis of the knee. The range of motion of the knee has increased and the quality of life has improved.
Improvement occurs even in the terminal stage, but it is important for osteoarthritis to receive acupuncture and moxibustion while the deformation of the knee cartilage is as small as possible, so that the deformation of the knee does not progress.
They have not only knee pain but also symptoms such as poor gait.
Some patients who cannot bend their knees use acupuncture in combination with rehabilitation or do rehabilitation on their own.
