Back and Leg

Back and Leg symptoms

Low back pain

Many people suffer from lower back pain, but when the lower back hurts, the hips and entire legs are also under strain. Let’s loosen up not only the lumbar region, but also the hip joints and the entire foot.

The lumbar region is a difficult area to approach deeply because of the overlapping and thickening of several large muscles, but acupuncture allows us to approach both shallow and deep areas.

Our clinic loosens up the feet and gently approaches the lower back where the muscles are stiff. We improve lower back pain in a way that is not hard on the body.

Chronic back pain can eventually lead to various symptoms such as sciatic nerve pain, hip pain, knee pain, and big toe pain, so do not leave your back pain unattended and give it maintenance

Acute lower back pain

When the strain on the lumbar peaks, the lower back aches and suddenly becomes immobile.

Young patients and those with mild symptoms of acute low back pain can expect significant improvement after a single treatment, but those with underlying conditions such as herniated discs take longer to improve.

Patients with underlying medical conditions or with recurring acute back pain will be wheeled in when the pain becomes so severe that they are unable to move at all.

It is important to deal with the symptoms while they are able to come to the clinic on their own.

Spondylolisthesis

A condition in which part of the spine has moved, which can be confirmed by x-ray or MRI.

A person whose erector spinae bulge so much that they hide the spine may have a slip. It causes various symptoms such as severe back pain and the inability to walk without rest.

However, these symptoms often improve with continuous acupuncture and moxibustion.

Sciatica

This is a very common condition that comes to my clinic. Patients with chronic pain and those who cannot walk due to severe pain come to my clinic.

The speed of improvement of sciatica varies greatly from one individual to another. One guide to improvement is that those with skinny buttocks (muscle atrophy) are slower to improve, while those with firm buttocks improve more quickly.

Many people with sciatica usually spend most of their time taking painkillers, but while painkillers stop the pain, they do not improve symptoms. If the pain persists for a long period of time, the muscles in the buttocks can become thin and cause severe pain that medication will not help. It is a good idea to take care of your body with acupuncture before this happens.

Herniated disk

I have worked with many different types of herniated discs. We approach the body’s reaction to the pain with distorted back and hips, skinny hips everywhere, different leg lengths, etc. The symptoms improve when the hips and buttocks are full of strength and the legs are aligned.

Those with chronic inflammation are easier to treat because the inflammatory state has calmed down.

For those in severe pain, the treatment is combined with painkillers. Fighting with pain is hard, but if the symptoms of herniated disc can be controlled without surgery, the burden on the body is small and the body can live comfortably even in later years.

Our clinic also takes care of post-operative patients with herniated discs.

Spinal canal stenosis

Scoliosis can cause back pain, leg pain, leg cramps, and difficulty walking. Some people come to the hospital supported by others. Some patients who were told they could not walk and that surgery was the only option have improved after receiving acupuncture and moxibustion, and some have even resumed playing sports.

Scoliosis causes extremely poor blood flow in the legs and the legs turn white or reddish-black, but those whose blood flow improves and the color of their legs improves tend to have a better course of treatment.

Scoliosis

Scoliosis causes the spine to meander from side to side, resulting in various symptoms such as back pain, lower back pain, autonomic nervous system disorders, excessive sweating, gastrointestinal disorders, cold, and heart palpitations. The scoliosis patient’s back is stiff and bulging unevenly on both sides, but the body becomes much more comfortable when the back is relaxed and the pelvis is aligned.

The length of the legs of scoliosis patients is different due to the distortion of the pelvis, but after receiving acupuncture and moxibustion treatment, the lengths of the legs will be aligned.

We also deal with scoliosis in children.

Depending on the age and personality of the child, we will provide treatment without acupuncture.
